By using this website, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions set out below.

When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods.
Your card will be authorised for the full value of the order, but not charged. Once we have checked the price and availability of the goods, we will email you to confirm that we accept your order, and that a contract has been made between us.
In the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available, or that we have made a pricing mistake, we will advise you of this. You will not receive an email confirming acceptance of your order, and there will be no contract between us.
Your card will be charged following dispatch of your order.
Please note that Our Kid reserves the right to cancel any orders placed as it sees fit. Our Kid will notify by email immediately of any such cancellation and also issue a full refund of the related payment. Once your refund is actioned by us, please allow 3-5 working days for the funds to be available again in your account.
We use Royal Mail and Interlink Express tracked services to send your parcels. We'll email you to let you know when your order is dispatched (usually next working day).
Free standard deliver for orders over £50.
Standard delivery (2-5 working days): £3.95, for orders under £50.
Express delivery (1-2 working days): £7.95.
Standard delivery (4-5 working days): £11.95.

Please note that Our Kid do not accept responsibility for additional taxes and duties that are incurred when shipping outside of the UK.
We understand that busy families can mean missed deliveries and delays in getting to the Post Office to even make a return. So with this in mind, we offer a generous time frame on refunds and exchanges. We really hope that you are happy with your purchases but if you do need to exchange or return an item please send it back unworn, and in the original packaging within 21 days of receipt. Sale items should be returned within 10 days of receipt.
Please note that as we do not offer a free returns service if you wish to return an item you will be asked to pay the postage costs.
We do not accept returns on gift cards.
We do not accept returns on stroppy toddlers.
How to return or exchange products:
Please detail your reason code as to why you are returning an item on the form enclosed with your order (or on a note if you've enthusiastically thrown it away).

Post your goods back to us within 21 days to the following address:.

The items must be sent back unworn, in saleable condition with their original tags and packaging.
All items returned to us are at your own risk and expense, so we recommend using a recorded service. Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for returns which are lost or damaged in the post so please obtain a free proof of postage from the post office which will serve as your security in case this happens.
Any items damaged in transit must be reported within 2 days of receipt so please check your delivery on arrival.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and whether your refund has been approved or rejected. If approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 2-3 working days.
Claims for lost outgoing parcels cannot be made until enough time has passed to allow for delays in the post, generally 10 working days. We also ask customers to ensure that they make their claim within a reasonable length of time.
Any items damaged in transit or any discrepancies with orders must be reported within 2 days of receipt so please check your delivery on arrival. Furniture deliveries must be checked immediately and damages to packaging reported to the driver. Full returns details are found in your parcel
Only full priced items may be refunded. Unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded but we are happy to offer a gift card for future purchases.
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged or if you require a different size of clothing. We will advise you if the item you wish to exchange for is available, in the case that it is not available, we will issue a refund.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

If the order is cancelled before it ships, then we will not usually have charged your card. If it has been charged then we will of course issue a full refund upon your instruction. Cut-off time for shipping is usually 2pm. We don't ship or deliver at the weekend or on bank holidays.
If you notify us that you wish to cancel your order after it has shipped out, we will not refund the original shipping cost on your order and you may also incur an additional return to sender fee if it is issued by the courier or postal service used for your delivery. This return to sender fee is usually the same cost as your original postage charge but it can vary.
In the case of a late cancellation we will refund you for the cancelled order minus the original shipping cost and return to sender fee once the cancelled order has arrived back at our warehouse and has been processed and checked accordingly. At this point we will notify you by email of the exact charges to be deducted from your refund to the email address that you supplied us with on your original order.
Once your refund is actioned by us, please allow 3-5 working days for the funds to be available again in your account.
Our Kid will endeavour to ensure that our website does not have any problems and that goods displayed are available. However we cannot guarantee the availability of the website or that any goods on the site are in stock or available. In the event that your ordered items are out of stock we will notify you as soon as we can.
If an item is "out of stock" you will be advised of the date when more stock is due before you place your order. If there is a further delay we will notify you by email or post. Your order will be dispatched and the out of stock items will follow. We will only charge your debit or credit card when an item has been sent to you.
During exceptionally busy times, such as the launch of a catalogue or sale, there may be a slight delay in delivery.
Prices are as stated on the website and are subject to change at any time without notice.
Please note that colours on our website will vary slightly depending how your monitor is calibrated. We do our very best to make sure all our images are true to the actual product you are purchasing, but we can't guarantee a perfect match every time.
All sizes and measurements are approximate. We try to ensure they are as accurate as possible and will correct any errors promptly. Sizes may differ between brands.
Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, and therefore it is your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through this website meet your specific requirements.

Any information we gather about you is to help us to fulfil your order effectively, to improve the shopping experience on our site, or, if you sign up for newsletters we will use your information to share news and relevant information with you. You can opt out of newsletters at anytime by replying with 'unsubscribe' in the title.
When you place an order or communicate with us, we may collect your name, contact details, addresses, credit card information, feedback and comments.
We may use that information in the following ways:

We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties
What do we do with your information?
When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.
How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.
If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.
How do I withdraw my consent?

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it. If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.
